Entry 28 : Fabrication update
ENTRY # 28
Today construction of the selected concept was underway, the tabletop was to be constructed alongside the machining of both shafts 1 and 2 . while the dimensions and keyways were being determined the tabletop construction was started. This was made from 1 inch thick MDF board, a composite board made of High-density fiberboard which is an engineered wood that allows for heavy loads bearing capability and durability along with the resistance to deterioration however in the presence of water thus may promote damage however due to the conditions this machine is designed to work, there should not be high water contents.
